We got to find a good nickname for Cody Ross. The guy is having an unbelievable start to the 2009 season. Today Ross goes 3/4 with a home run in the 8th inning and a 3-run double to untie the game in the top of the 9th. Andrew Miller started tonight against the Braves' ace, Derek Lowe but it was Miller who would scrape by tonight. For his first start of the season, Miller was sitting pretty with a 4-1 lead in the 5th inning, but gave up the equalizer to leave the game after 4.2 innings with a tie 4-4. The 6th player ever in Major League Baseball history to do it - and he did it Monday night at Dolphins Stadium as the Marlins were hosting the Reds. Ken Griffey Jr, who started his career in Seattle, watched his father play for the Reds during their heyday while growing up.
