Postponed Game Couldn’t Find a Better Script

The timing was perfect, in some way. Today, the Marlins held their groundbreaking ceremony for the new stadium on the site of the old Orange Bowl. Right now the Florida Marlins are breaking ground on their new stadium, slated to open on Opening Day 2012. Marlins Add New Webcam to Eyeball New Stadium Construction

The Florida Marlins have announced that they are planting a webcam which will allow fans to watch in real time (well, 15 minute increments) the construction of the new ballpark. The webcam can be viewed here. The new design for the stadium has been made public. It will be on a south-east orientation, seat around 37,000 and be ready for operation on Opening Day 2012. Braman Losing Lawsuit

The Miami Herald is reporting that auto dealer Norman Braman had a portion of his lawsuit tossed out of court by a circuit court judge which was seeking to undermine a $3 billion plan to rebuild portions of downtown Miami.
