Does anyone else just want to see the Yankees win so that we don't have to hear about a back to back Phillies run?

I'm solidly in the Yankees camp.

Vero's family is Red Sox fans, so this is as nightmarish a WS for his dad as it is for a Mets fan.

Well, Yankees win. Can't help but feel like all is right with the world. They just have a great franchise bent on winning. They build a new ballpark, like the Mets, but they win the World Series - unlike the Mets. Red Sox fans must be hating life. I'm just glad we didn't have to see the Phillies get lucky in that t-ball field of theirs.
