Selected to represent the Marlins in the summer classic on July 16th in New York, the accolades continue to pile up for the young hurler. With a 5-4 record and a 2.74 ERA, Fernandez will look to steal a game against the Cardinals in this afternoon’s matchup in St. Louis. He already is the youngest Marlin ever to make it to the All Star game – at 20 he is younger than Miguel Cabrera (21) and Dontrelle Willis (21) were when they were selected to their first.
