PTI made a big deal about this. But couldn’t this just be your typical end of game routine – catchers usually turn to the umpire and give a hand shake for calling a game. For one, it endears you to the umpire the next time you see him. Besides, if the Marlins had the umpires in their pockets, you would think they would at least have a better record.
